The Lion and Tiger

Anand came across a lion and a tiger in a forest of forgetfulness. The lion lies on every Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and the other days he speaks the truth. The Tiger lies on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and on other days he speaks the truth. 

 Lion: Yesterday I was lying.

 Tiger: So was I.

 Which day did they say that?

 Answer:

 Thursday.

Answer: The mistake is in step three A-B=0. You cannot conclude that 4 = 2 just because 4 x 0 = 2 x 0.
